I wanted to replace a pair of Nike leather golf shoes with another leather pair. I had never tried Eccos on before, so wasn't sure how a shoe with 8-81/2 would fit. They have a removable foam insole that fits my size 8 foot perfectly. If your foot was 8 1/2, you'd just remove the insole and the shoe is finished inside. This insole does not have great support, but I found that it's enough. They are very comfortable, I wore them right away with no breaking in. I love the wing tip styling, a nice Scottish accent, and the color pictured is very accurate. I've always had replaceable spikes before, but I expect these permanent spikes to last as long as the upper.These shoes run true to size and serve the needed purpose. They are described as golf shoes, but I use them for archery. (As with golf, it calls for flat, comfortable shoes, with decent traction on grass; archery is an outdoor sport in the spring & summer.) They are attractive, durable and comfortable. The arch support could be better, so I added some thin arch support insoles. All in all, they were a good choice.I have 7 pairs of Ecco shoes and I usually absolutely love them. NOT this pair. They are stiff like a construction worker shoe. I have the Hybrid one style and love that pink shoe so I bought these as the first was not available any more. I have never had to break in a pair of Eccos before. The are rigid stiff. I have worn them in the house, to the range, tried during golf but they hurt. I ordered shoe trees to stretch them a little- that did not help. The other thing that hurts is that this is an expensive shoe -I paid $157 for these!The color and design is great but this particular Ecco is just not the same as all the other soft pliable pairs I have. So disappointing!I ordered a size larger than I usually do. The shoes felt good on my feet suiting down, but when I played golf the left shoe pinched the medial metatarsal joint and became quite painful. I hope I can have them stretched, or am able to break them in with wearing for short periods.Bought these ECCO's for my wife. Someone had stolen one of her old Nike golf shoes (one foot golfer?). Tried their newer models but she wasn't happy. She finds these ECCO's very comfortable and stable. Traction is good. Heel is a little stiff and took a bit to break in but not a problem. Bought a second pair for our second home so she doesn't have to travel with them.I loved the appearance of this shoe. The fit was true to size. I have another pair of ECCO golf shoes which I also love the fit and comfort of.Ecco and footjoy are the only 2 golf shoes that are comfortable from the first time you wear them! I usually wear 6.5 or 7 womens, bought a 37 and happy with the purchase.They are great! Loss of star because I didn't expect suede-ish finish and I really prefer replaceable spikes. But they are a wonderful color that is hard to find and matches many of my shirts and hats.Arrivate prima del previsto. Occorre fare attenzione alla guida taglia. Rispetto alle altre Ecco, queste sono un po' più rigide e leggermente più strette. La guida mi consigliava di comprare un numero in più e così ho fatto. In effetti ci voleva perchè se le avessi prese del mio numero sarebbero state strette. Occorre calzarle prima in casa per ammorbidirle un po' onde evitare di trovarsi in campo in situazioni spiacevoli. Le scarpe sono leggermente più chiare rispetto alla foto in quanto il colore arancione non è omogeneo. Il design è molto bello, come le scarpe da golf classiche, quelle che avevano gli spikesIch habe es für das Golfspiel gekauft. Dir Größen sind selbst bei der selben Hersteller (hier ECCO) immer abweichend, deswegen ist es schwierig, bei Onlinebestellung die richtige Schuhgröße zu finden. Diese könnte 1/2 Nummer größer sein, bzw. ich muss es mit dünne Socken tragen. Ein ganz wenig dehnt sich, so wird es bald passen. Der Schuh ist wunderschön (Farbe und Form), sehr gut verarbeitet, hat einen guten Halt für die Füße selbst bei 18 Loch.Zuerst hat mir das Produkt gefallen, bis ich es anprobieren wollte. Die Schuhe sind unbequem und viel zu eng, selbst mit dünner Socke. Am 08.02. 2016 habe ich von diesem Zustand den Verkäufer per Mail informiert (in englischer Sprache) und um ein Rücksendeformular gebeten, bzw. einen Umtausch auf Gr. 40 vorgeschlagen. Bis heute keine Antwort. Mehr als 2 Sterne kann ich nicht vergeben.Sehr gute Verarbeitung aber leider viel zu eng geschnitten. Ich habe eine ganz normale Fußform, nicht schmal und nicht breit. Leider habe ich es erst nach dem ersten Tragen (6 Stunden Golfplatz ) bemerkt. Die Schuhe wiesen da bereits deutliche Tragespuren auf, nicht mehr für eine Rücksendung geeignet.Inzwischen habe ich sie mit Schuhspannern geweitet, sie sind tragbar aber gehören mit Sicherheit nicht zu meinen bequemsten Schuhen. Nach einer Platzrunde bin ich froh sie gegen andere Schuhe tauschen zu können.look and feel, and comfort are perfect, would definitely buy another pair if they come up
