I LOVE how this dress feels.. it is sooo SOFT!It fits right everywhere except it is a bit too long but I am only 5'3 so that could be why☺This dress is a bit low cut on me so I wear a matching soft sport bra underneath to cover my chest.Also, another thing I noticed is that after washing this dress for the first time it already started pilling.. those tiny knots of thread/fuzz balls. I was confused and thought that was odd to happen after only the first wash.. A few days later I did some research and I realized that it was probably my fault that it happened? Ooops!! Hopefully what I learned can help protect future clothing☺ Hoping it can help you too! So here's what I found out...How to Prevent Pills on Clothes:-For clothes that you suspect will pill, use the gentle cycle. The slower agitation and shorter wash cycle will protect your clothes. Or try hand washing which is even more gentle.-Before washing, turn the garment inside out. (I need to remember to do this!?)This prevents excessive abrasion to the fabric from other clothes, zippers, and buttons.-Be sure to sort laundry properly before washing. Washing delicate items in the same load as jeans will cause more harm to the surface of fabrics. Avoid washing lint producing fabrics with other clothes. If there are broken fibers on polyester, the lint from terry cloth will cling tightly to the polyester surface.-Do not overload a washer past its capacity. (I'm so guilty of this?) Loading it as full as possible doesn't leave room for clothes to move easily and can cause damage to the surface of clothes.-Skip any harsh cleaners and damaging bleach which can weaken the fibers and cause them to break/pill.-Try to choose a laundry detergent that contains the enzyme cellulase.. it breaks down cotton pills and removes them from fabric.I hope this review can help at least one person!?I usually wear a size small, but ordered this in an extra small since it was described as fitting loosely, this worked out well, I am very pleased with this purchase! It is comfortable and flattering onI love the look, feel and comfort of this dress! It’s the best option for a lounge date! U can make it just a little fancy with jewelry and go out to dinner or you can throw on some flats or keds type shoes and go shopping and run errands! I’m hit the jackpot with this one??I’m sure I’ll buy other colors!I like this dress, and it is very comfortable. My only complaint is that it is slightly see-through in the chest. To be fair, I have a large chest so it is stretched.The dress is true to size. The dress does reach the ground and is a true maxi. This dress is very comfortable even with long sleeves. The only reason I did not rate this dress as a 5 star because when the fabric stretches it has a whitish undertone which is noticeable against the dark red dress.UPDATE: I just want to add that I’ve bought several of these...many for myself and a couple for my sister and mom. I noticed the length is not consistent with the same size. For instance, I don’t need to hem the black one: The length is perfect. However, I need to use hem tape on the rest. I would pay a little more(about $5) if they started offering a petite or short length. It defeats the purpose of buying these at this price, if you have to spend money to hem. I can’t wear heels, but I put on some very high wedges just to try on with it, and I was still stepping all over the fabric.I was very skeptical, but this dress is legit! I’m 5’3” and 250 pounds. I bought my usual 2X and it’s very slenderizing and true to size. I carry a lot of weight in my stomach, and look pregnant no matter what I wear, even with Spanx. The trick is finding attire that makes me look less pregnant lol. I think this dress does a great job of minimizing my belly even without Spanx. It doesn’t cling to bumps and rolls either. Hem tape is necessary due to my height, but I usually have that issue with maxi dresses anyway.The fabric is on the thin side, especially in the boob area. It stretches and turns whiteish over my 42DDD chest(a problem I usually have with tops and dresses). However, for modesty I wear a black tube top over my bra, and it solves that “whiteish” problem. The fabric is not paper thin though as only the chest area is a little see through. It might be an issue with the lighter colors. I intend on wearing very opaque black tights underneath anyway for extra warmth.I will purchase it in black and maybe the wine w/flowers. Wish I could afford all the colors. Absolutely love the pockets as well!The picture I posted is without me wearing any shape wear.I love this dress. I have already purchased a second time and have 2 more color options in my cart. It is very comfortable and flattering. If you are short, like me, you may need to wear with heels or be sure to lift as you walk..but it is worth it!Just what I thought it would be
